Sedan Times Star Sedan, Chautauqua County, Kansas July 18, 1929. "Opening New Paint and Wallpaper Store" Cal C. Wagoner of the Wagoner Decorating Company of Independence is spending most of the week here attending to the preliminary preparations for opening a new paint and wallpaper store. The firm expects to have the store ready for the opening by next Monday morning. They will carry a full line of paint and wallpaper and do contracting. Everything on a satisfaction guaranteed basis is the plan on which Mr. Wagoner says the store and business will be conducted. The location is in the Smith building, first door west of Avery's studio. Ed Puckett who has been with the firm for 2 years will be placed in charge as local manager. Mr. Puckett formerly resided in Elgin and has a wide acquaintance in the county. This will be the third store of the Wagoner Decorating Company.
